At least once a year in Saxony-Anhalt, more precisely in the region around the 1142m high Brocken (Blocksberg), witches and all sorts of mysterious creatures can be seen doing their mischief. The fact that celebrities like Johann Wolfgang von Götte appreciated the Harz with its wild hills is not only documented in his works.
