- Georelief was founded on 30th September 2004.
- On 1st of September 2006 georelief was converted into a civil law association. Since then the enterprise is active as a cartographic publishing house mainly in Germany and Switzerland, in addition, in many further European states.
- Since the 1st July 2007 the headquarter is in 01259 Dresden, Dohnaer street 383.
